What happens when you cancel, what we refund, and what happens to your data afterwards.
Draft for review. This is a working draft prepared to save your lawyer the blank page, not legal advice. Have UAE-qualified counsel read it before it goes live, and fill in every square-bracketed detail first.
Cancel whenever you like. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew. We do not refund the unused part of a period. Nothing is deleted when you cancel.
Sign in, open Plan & usage, and choose Manage billing. That opens Stripe's billing page in your own name, where you can cancel in one click. You do not need to email us and you do not need to give a reason — though if you tell us one, it goes straight into what we build next.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, everything works normally.
The general rule is no refund on a period already paid. We make four exceptions, and we apply them without argument:
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| You were charged after cancelling | Full refund of that charge, within one working day of you telling us. |
| A duplicate or clearly mistaken charge | Full refund of the duplicate. |
| An annual plan renewed and you tell us within 14 days, having not signed in since | Full refund of the renewal. A renewal nobody noticed is not a sale we want. |
| The service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours through our fault | Pro-rata credit for the affected days, applied to your next invoice. |
Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe. Card networks usually take five to ten working days to show it.
The 14-day trial asks for no card, charges nothing, and does not convert into a paid plan by itself. When it ends, your workspace stays fully readable and editable and only adding new clients stops — so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.
Email support@accountive.ae with the invoice number. We answer within one working day. If you think a charge is wrong, say so — we would rather refund a disputed AED 129 than argue about it.
